ITPG’s Cyber Security Unit announced the successful completion of large scale security posture assessment of client’s computing infrastructure.
Kevin Ejtemai, President and Chairman of ITPG stated: as with every engagement, as a prime or subcontractor, we strive to achieve and exceed clients’ expectations. From a contractual basis, this includes total client satisfaction with our products and services, support, methodologies, and project staff including project management and subject matter experts.
Frank Shirmo, ITPG’s Director of Technology and Cyber Security Practice adds: Completion of a project of this magnitude represents a milestone in our business unit’s history. Frank adds that benefits of a proper security posture assessment conducted by independent parties are numerous.
Organizations can expect to reduce the risk of intentional or accidental compromise in confidentiality, integrity or destruction of their information assets. Validation of safeguards and countermeasures, allocation of valuable corporate resources based on priorities, compliance with internal security policies and applicable external regulations are just a few others to mention.
Although a point-in-time scan of the computing infrastructure is the first step in the right direction, given the increase in frequency and sophistication of cyber attacks, organizations in virtually every industry need to engage in frequent internal and external scan of their networks and Web applications.
