Partnership to Deliver Education and Examination Materials for
the Global Associate of Business Continuity Institute (ABCI)
Credential for Business Continuity Management Professionals

VIENNA, Virginia, USA, Feb. 9, 2007 – ITPG, Inc., a global leader in the development and delivery of world-class professional education and certification programs, today announced a partnership with The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) (www.thebci.org) located in Caversham, United Kingdom and Schroeder Measurement Technologies (SMT) (www.smttest.com), located in Dunedin, Florida, to develop and deliver an e-learning and examination program for the Associate BCI (ABCI) certification – a professional credential for business continuity managers.

Under the agreement, ITPG and SMT will take primary responsibility for the development; maintenance; delivery; marketing and sales; operations and logistics; and scoring services associated with the ABCI business continuity management e-learning and certification programs. The competency examination will initially serve as the basis for entry into the BCI membership at the BCI designation of Associate.

The parties agreed to consider extending this program in the future to cover Member BCI (MBCI) and Specialist BCI (SBCI) certifications. Through this relationship, the parties will coordinate their areas of expertise to implement the e-learning and examination programs globally in accordance with the International Organization for Standards / International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17024 standard, “General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification of Person”.
