ITPG will provide only aggregated data from analyses to affiliated third parties. ITPG also uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Website.
As ITPG is an organization based in the United States, your personal data will be collected and processed in the United States by ITPG and third parties acting on its behalf in accordance with and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish your personal data to be handled in this way, please inform us using the instructions below.

What is a "Cookie"?
On the Internet, and as it pertains to online functionality, a "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to be stored on a web browser so that it can be read back later from that browser. This becomes useful for having the browser remember specific information about a visitor to a particular Website. The cookie is a text file that is saved in the browser's directory and is stored in RAM while the browser is running. The cookie may also be stored on the computer's hard drive once a user logs off from that Website or web server.
ITPG and Cookies
ITPG is committed to continually improving the experience for students, candidates, customers, and visitors as they use the ITPG Website. "Cookies" are currently the only way to effectively identify an individual in order to provide personalized access to information. By using cookies, ITPG can personalize its Website and offer secure services for each individual. Cookies and registration are two methods that ITPG uses to offer certain individuals features and services that are unavailable to the general public. Currently, we only use the information we gather from the use of cookies to offer personalized services; we do not use cookies for any other purpose.
All log-in processes were specifically created to offer certain individuals advanced services and access to secure information. Our intent is that all of ITPG's cookies are terminated when a visitor ends their browser session.
ITPG will treat the information that is gathered on this site as confidential. It will not be shared, bartered or sold to ANY third party.
What Are Cookies Used For?
One use of cookies is for storing passwords and user IDs for specific Websites. Also, they are used to store preferences for start pages. On sites with personalized viewing, your web browser will be requested to utilize a small amount of space on your computer's hard drive to store these preferences. That way, each time you log on to that Website, your browser will check to see if you have any pre-defined preferences (a cookie) for that unique server. If you do, the browser will send the cookie to the server along with your request for a web page. Microsoft and Netscape use cookies to create personal start pages on their Websites. Common uses for which companies utilize cookies include online ordering systems, site personalization, and Website tracking.
Site personalization is one of the most beneficial uses for cookies.
Some visitors feel it is an invasion of privacy for a Website to track their progress on a site. We, at ITPG, use cookies strictly for the purpose of making your visits to our site as personalized as possible. We want to get you the information or services you seek as quickly as possible and allow you to get back to work without delay. Site navigation statistics are critical to the continuing redesign of our site. We need to know if 100 different people visited our site or if one person (or robot) continuously hit the reload button 100 times.
What about security?
An HTTP cookie cannot be used to retrieve personal data from your hard drive, install a virus, get your email address, or steal sensitive information about who you are; however, an HTTP cookie may be used to track where you travel within a particular site. Site tracking cannot easily be done without the use of cookies. ITPG implements the use of cookies on the Website to continuously improve the site and further serve constituents' needs.
